Friends fear for missing Allison
IPSWICH school friends of Brookfield woman Allison Baden-Clay are mystified and fearful about her disappearance.
Her parents, Geoff and Priscilla Dickie, who used to live in Ipswich, have made a desperate public plea for information about their daughter.
Allison, 43, a mother of three daughters, was last seen by her husband Gerard at their Brookfield home about 10pm last Thursday.
The Dickie family lived in Spencer St, Redbank while Allison went to Ipswich Girls' Grammar School, where she was vice head girl in 1985.
Mr and Mrs Dickie now live on the Gold Coast, while Allison travelled widely after being manager of the Ipswich Flight Centre outlet.
Photos of Allison were taken by The Queensland Times in 1993 and 1994 while she was working in Ipswich.
IGGS deputy principal Rhonda Nolan said she had spoken to the women who went to school with Allison since her disappearance.
Mrs Nolan said the women of her year had been discussing Allison and they were "baffled and distressed by what has happened".
She said the women hadn't been in regular contact with Allison since they left school, but they always caught up with her at Old Girls' dinners.
