JESSICA Watson is Dancing With The Stars' new comeback kid.

The young yachtswoman regained her footing on the dance floor after a shocking performance last week.

Watson's rumba to Wonderwall by Oasis earned her a respectable score of 21 last night and spared the Buderim teen another "kiss of death" from judge Todd McKenney.

"We put in the hard yards," Watson told host Daniel MacPherson.

"I gave it my all."

Judge Helen Richey described Watson's two performances as "night and day".

"I have never seen a transformation like that," Richey said.

Usually acid-tongued judge Joshua Horner described Watson as "calm, subtle and sensual".

Ironman Caine Eckstein was the second star eliminated from the reality dancing competition.
