Pedestrian killed in crash

A PEDESTRIAN has been killed after being hit by a car on the Sunshine Coast.
Police say the 20-year-old man was walking northbound near the Beerburrum exit when he was hit by a vehicle around 8pm (AEST) on Friday.
The male driver of the vehicle was not injured and had to be taken to hospital to be treated for shock.
