Colts gallop over the Swans

THE Northshore Realty Coolum Colts put together another impressive performance to outclass the Maroochydore Swans 64-4 last Saturday.

The afternoon started well for the Colts when they crossed for the first of their 12 tries after just three minutes.

Perfect execution of their rehearsed plays and committed defence laid the platform for the win. 

Coach Nathan Ratcliffe said he was very happy the way the team stuck to the game plan. 

“The forwards were fantastic and were superbly led by man of match Nick Hewton and Jordan Vaughan,” Ratcliffe said.

Hewton said the forwards’ hard work paved the platform for the backs to do their job.

Despite playing away games, the Colts have had three wins and a loss and are in a good position. Next week’s game is another away game, against leaders Kilcoy.
