Bali Nine drug mule Scott Rush.
SUPPORTERS of Bali Nine drug mule Scott Rush have arrived at a Bali court for his final appeal against his death sentence.
A group of four supporters, including Rush's father Lee, was waiting at the Denpasar District Court on Thursday morning, where the appeal was due to resume.
The court had been expected to begin its schedule at 9am local time, but by 10am (1200 AEST) it was yet to open.
Rush was expected to attend the hearing on Thursday, but neither he nor his lawyers had been seen at the court by 10am.
The court began hearing the appeal, known as a judicial review, last Wednesday, but it was adjourned because of problems with the paperwork used to summons Rush to court.
The judicial review pushes for a 15-year sentence for Rush, 24, who was one of nine Australians convicted over the 2005 attempt to smuggle more than eight kilograms of heroin from Bali to Australia.
If the final appeal fails, Rush's last chance of avoiding the firing squad will be to seek clemency from Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, who typically shows no mercy to drug smugglers.
