Jack Aldridge charges in to bowl at the Noosa district trials on Monday.
THERE was a great turnout on Sunday for Coolum Cricket Club’s first sign-on for the new season. People who missed out may attend a second sign-on day on Sunday, September 5, from 10am to 2pm.
Though official training does not start until mid-September, and fixtures won’t start until October, some players tried out on Monday night for selection in the Sunshine Coast junior team.
Noosa district selector Greg Corkin had a look at 33 boys, from which four Coolum boys were chosen for Sunshine Coast trials.
They are Jack Aldridge, Jarrod Trahar, Luke Philp and Jay White.
