North Shore Traders’ Association members and councillor Debbie Blumel attend last month’s meeting.
NORTH Shore Traders’ Association members will have a chance to learn from the successes and failures of the Nambour revitalisation project at their next meeting.
Town centre manager for Nambour’s revitalisation Gail Podberscek will address the traders’ meeting to show how the project could translate to Marcoola’s upgrade.
Division eight councillor Debbie Blumel said the meeting was a great opportunity to learn from a resident who had valuable experience.
“Gail is a very successful businesswoman with a background in retail and hospitality,” Cr Blumel said.
“She will speak about her experience with the Nambour Traders.
“She will share her knowledge on reinventing town centres and keeping business viable while construction works are taking place.”
The meeting will be held at Surfair from 6.30pm Tuesday.
