Nippers get a taste of comp

LAST Saturday turned out to be a fantastic day up at Rainbow Beach when a contingent of Coolum Nippers travelled north to compete in a surf carnival.

No outstanding results were recorded but everyone had a great time and learnt about competing at an inter-club level.

This week we return to our regular routine with nippers back at Coolum at 8am.

Here are some future dates to take note of on the calendar: Saturday, October 30 under-11 to under-14 at Met Caloundra for a teams carnival and Sunday, November 14 for the under-8 to under-10 Met Caloundra carnival.

Beach setup and pack-up assistance is requested from nipper parents of under-9 age group from 7.30am this Sunday.
