The victorious Coolum Primary School rugby league team.

It’s official.

Coolum has the best primary school rugby league team on the Coast.

The Coolum team took on allcomers recently to win the ARL Development Titan’s Shield.

The final was played at Wises Road, Maroochydore between Coolum and Kilcoy primary school, with the local team proving too strong.

From the kick-off, captain Luke Philp, Joseph Price and Ben Rogers combined brilliantly to score Coolum’s first try.

The Coolum backline of Jordan Vickers, Angus Deviney, Wade Woodward and Jye Sheehan proved too hot for Kilcoy to handle, while Bailey Haumaha, Ben Rogers and Jimmy Stevenson continually put their bodies on the line in defence.

Matt Went had an exceptional match and Luke Philp was awarded Sportsman of the Game.
