Child injured, woman in serious condition after 3-car pileup

UPDATE: THREE people have been transported to hospital following a three-vehicle crash at Buderim.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said a child, a woman in her 80s and a woman in her 30s were transported from the scene of the crash on Main St, outside the Buderim Mountain State School about 11.20am.

The spokeswoman said both the elderly woman and young girl was transported as a precaution however the 30-year-old was transported in a serious, but stable condition.

The spokeswoman said the patient received 'significant' injuries to her leg and foot when a moving car crashed into a stationary car. The stationary car then hit the parked car in front of it.

It's not clear where each patient was at the time of the crash.

The crash was reported about 10.30am.

BREAKING: PARAMEDICS are treating a woman at the scene of a crash on Main St, Buderim.

Emergency services got the call about 10.26am with reports of a two-vehicle crash outside Buderim Mountain State School.

It's believed an off-duty Queensland Ambulance Service person was the first one scene and the woman's foot was reported to be crushed.

The Queensland Police service was also on scene and a spokesman said it looked like the woman's foot was broken.
