Coolum land is hot property

GANGBUSTERS, is how Greg Moore of North Shore Realty describes the activity level of the auction campaign for 15 Sunrise Ave, Coolum Beach.

"The amount of interest is unbelievable,” he said.

"People have wanted to make offers but this property lends itself to go to auction. The beneficiaries have instructed me to proceed to the auction floor.

"It's going to be a very, very exciting auction.”

So what is so special about this property? The 610sqm corner block is close to the shops and the beach and its level.

"We did one in Jones Pde, not as close to the beach and with only a small frontage,” Greg said. "Close to 60 attended that one so I expect we will attract at least that many.

"Although zoned purely residential, there was one around the corner with a smaller frontage and the same zoning. Council allowed a duplex to go there. I've met with investors, people wanting to build their dream home; so many enquiries.

"It seems as though the land has been held since time began. At least pre-rpdata records. The owner had wanted it to go to family and they have decided to sell.

"Who knows what auction day will bring, buyers often come out of the woodwork on auction day with land.”

Greg will be on-site Saturday, January 21 from 3pm and the auction will begin at 4pm.
