Female police officer injured at wild party

A PARTY has turned into a court date for two Darling Downs men.

On Sunday night police were called to a noisy party on Lyons St, where they arrested the two men.

A 29-year-old man was charged with public nuisance and obstructing police in the execution of their duties.

An 18-year-old man was also charged with public nuisance.

During the arrests a female officer received minor injuries including bruising to one of her arms.

The officer did not require further medical attention.

Both men will appear in the Warwick Magistrates court on November 2, 2016.
