YESTERDAY, on alighting from the tilt train, having travelled from Brisbane to Nambour, I realised, just as the train was pulling away, I had left a valuable purchase in a David Jones bag in the overhead locker.
I rushed to the customer service area where I had the very good luck to be attended to by "Norm”, who, after taking down all details, thought he could try to intercept the train at Gympie and would let me know.
Sure enough, and in less than an hour, Norm rang to say they had my parcel and it was on the next train back for me to collect.
Now that is outstanding customer service and efficiency, so I want to say a sincere thankyou to Queensland Rail, and to my new super hero - Norm.
