The Coolum Beach Hotel has applied to extend its trading hours to allow it to trade from 10am-3am Monday to Sunday.

The hotel’s current trading hours are from 10am until 2am, Monday to Saturday and from 10am until midnight on Sunday.

Grounds for objections to the application include “undue offence, annoyance, disturbance or inconvenience” to people who reside or work nearby or to anyone going to or from an existing or proposed place of worship, hospital or school.

Another valid objection would be if the amenity, quiet or good order of the locality concerned would be lessened in some way by the granting of the extended hours.
