IT'S busy times for youngsters around the region, with a variety of sports contested.

Among the action were Aussie Rules teams, Maroochydore Gold and Coolum Beach Breakers.

They contested a great under-12 match during the weekend, as part of regular fixtures.

Droves of keen kids take part in the sport on the Sunshine Coast, with clubs also from Bribie Island, Caloundra, Glasshouse, Gympie, Kawana, Mountain Creek, Nambour, Noosa, North Shore and Pomona.

Age groups are U8's, U10's, U12's, U13's Youth Girls, U14's, U15's Youth Girls, U16's, U17's Youth Girls.
