Police rush to scene of crash after car hits telco pole

PARAMEDICS rushed to the scene of a single vehicle traffic crash at Nambour this afternoon after a car hit a telecommunication pole.

The patient was assessed for shoulder injuries and transported to the Nambour Hospital in a stable condition.

A QAS spokeswoman said there was a possibility the car rolled.

The crash took place 4km from the Nambour Heights shopping centre, at Kureelpa.
A QPS spokesman said police officers had left the scene however the crash caused the bottom of the telecommunications pole to break off.

He said the telecommunication company was on its way.
