School fair to focus on family fun

FAMILY fun will be the focus of the Coolum Beach Christian College annual fair to be held later this month.

The fair will have attractions for all ages, from an animal farm to stomach-churning rides.

Visitors will be able to find a bargain at the trash and treasure and plant stalls, play Laser Skirmish and other games, win prizes and buy show bags, art and craft, homemade and a tantalising range of hot food.

Rides include Gladiator Challenge, Round Up, Hurricane, Super Slide, Mini Jeeps, Cup and Saucer, Zorb Balls and Jumping Castles. All-day tickets are $30 each on the day or pre-purchase them from the school at the discounted price of $25 each ($20 each for second and $15 each for a third or more child).

An auction will be held at 3pm.

The fair will be held at the Coolum Beach Christian College on the corner of Yandina-Coolum and Arcoona Rds on Saturday, August 20 from noon-5pm.
