‘Shedders’ raise $500

COOLUM Men's Shed this week donated $500 to drought relief in western Queensland.

The money was raised by raffling donated goods and items made by Coolum "shedders".

More than $5000 has been raised for this appeal by the Queensland Men's Shed Association.

John Williams from the association visited the Coolum Men's Shed on Friday to receive the donation and to acknowledge the efforts of the local men.

Coolum Men's Shed, situated at 4/25 Quanda Rd (Gateway Centre), has 48 members and is open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 9am and 4pm. For more information visit www.coolummens shed.org or email coolummensshed@ gmail.com.
