Young Mathlets prove mettle

Congratulations to the learners from 76S at Sunshine Beach State School for winning a free subscription to mathletics.com.au.

This was due to their outstanding performance in World Maths Day 2008. The class answered more than 10,000 questions correctly.

On World Maths Day, over a million children from around the world competed live online by answering as many arithmetic questions as fast as they could. The most number of questions answered in 60 seconds was 109. Mathletics is used by more than 400,000 learners and 1000 schools.
